On May 5th, the 135th China Import and Export Trade Fair (Canton Fair) concluded in Guangzhou. The event saw enthusiastic participation from businesses around the world, despite difficult weather conditions. The Municipal Bureau of Commerce reported that the Qingdao delegation achieved US$909 million in intentional order turnover, a 6.9% increase from the previous Canton Fair and a 14.7% increase from the one before that.
The Qingdao delegation showcased the sincerity of actively seeking global orders, and accelerated the globalization of their layout, demonstrating their commitment to promoting high levels of opening up. With 1269 booths and 837 exhibitors, Qingdao enterprises participated with a proactive attitude, displaying their resources and strength to the world's excellent buyers.
