During the 19th Asian Games, we, Qingdao Time Outdoor Products Co., Ltd. also organised a wonderful sports and competitive activity, the floor curling competition. Although because of the venue, we didn't hold it on the icy surface, but the enthusiasm and participation of our company staff was very high, which made the competition completed successfully in a high atmosphere.
To better participate in this game, our members have learnt the curling instruction in advance, in addition we have invited professional coaches to provide guidance. In order to better enhance the cohesion of the company's staff, we didn't divide the teams according to departments, but divided them into 8 teams by random draw.
Under the coach's patient guidance, the team members quickly mastered the rules of the game. During the short practice time, each team competed for every second to practice the strength and accuracy, so as to make the best preparation for the official competition.
The first round is a Points System, where each team member has two chances to delivery,choose the highest score, and points are accumulated according to the team member's delivery results. The concentrated expressions and fine movements of the players really showed their athletic ability.
The second round of the competition was based on the results of the first round, a one-on-one team match, where each team chose the elite 12 people to play and compete against each other.
This round not only tests the level of players, but also requires teamwork and strategic awareness, and the winner is not determined until the last delivery.
The winning team was very excited to be the champion of our curling competition after a very tough match.
Although this is just a simple floor curling competition, it fully demonstrates the participation enthusiasm, teamwork spirit and competitive ability of our staff, and also provides a platform for them to show their talents, as well as to communicate and interact with their colleagues. We believe that driven by this spirit, more employees of the company will also be active and contribute to the construction of more culture of the company.
