During the email communication, we learned that the company had been looking for a manufacturer for a new, highly innovative wagon product they had designed and were looking forward to bringing their finished product to a wider market. Our company has always been known for our excellent R&D and production capacity, and in recent years we have been continuously expanding our production line and upgrading our manufacturing level. They were very interested in our company's capability and want to know our company's willingness.
Because the US customer urgently wanted to promote the development of the product, we quickly determined the time of the video conference, and carried out in-depth communication, our general manager, engineers, sales together to participate in the meeting. During the video conference, we signed a confidentiality agreement to protect the customer's product intellectual property rights, which also became an important guarantee of cooperation between the two sides. The customer showed us their design and drawings, and introduced to us their market plan.
After the meeting, we evaluated this project internally. The development of this new wagon requires a lot of plastic parts and sheet metal parts that we don't have at the moment, and for the unknown market, we have to invest a lot of money in molding costs, and the result of the discussion made us very hesitant.
But the U.S. company is obviously very determined to carry out this project, and trust our company's strength, after many times of docking and communication between the sales and technical personnel of both companies, we finally decided to cooperate and equalize the cost of molding. This also reflects the mutual trust and cooperative spirit of both parties. At the same time, we also see the broad prospects of this project.
