On 31 December - the last day of 2025 - our functional department, production workshops and warehouses came together to conduct our year-end physical inventory. To ensure a thorough and accurate count, our main injection moulding and sheet metal production lines were paused in preparation.

This report focuses on the meticulous inventory process within our folding cart workshop.
A granular look at every component
The count was exhaustive. We tracked every item, from raw materials such as tubing to the smallest fasteners. We accounted for all components, including wheel hubs, frames and fabric panels, as well as every finished or semi-finished cart, even display samples in our warehouse. Each piece, whether a stamped metal bracket or a moulded plastic handle, was checked and recorded. Mr Yang, the workshop team leader, oversaw the entire process.
"The new cart models for recent orders are more complex, with a greater variety of parts,' he noted. 'A detailed physical count and clear labelling system are essential. They enable us to manage inventory accurately, which supports more efficient production planning and reduces delays."
Accuracy in Numbers
We audited over 30 distinct material and product categories using a systematic approach, with a sample check rate exceeding 30%. The final tally showed an inventory accuracy rate of 96%.

Why this matters – for us and for our clients
For any manufacturing business, a precise annual inventory is much more than just a routine task. It is a critical health check that:
- Ensures production accuracy: it verifies that our recorded stock levels match physical reality, preventing shortages or overages that can disrupt production schedules.
- Upholds our commitment to reliability: This diligence is the foundation of our ability to fulfil orders correctly and on time. It reflects our broader commitment to quality control and operational excellence - values that extend from the workshop floor to the final product we ship.
For our clients, this process translates into tangible benefits:
- Order integrity: You can trust that the products and quantities you order are accurately managed in our system.
- Consistent supply: Reliable inventory data helps us maintain production flow, reducing the risk of unexpected delays to your projects.
- Quality assurance: This level of organisational rigour reflects the attention to detail we apply to product manufacturing itself.
The year-end count is an essential but quiet practice. It brings the year to a close with clarity and prepares us to meet the demands of the next year with confidence and precision.
