Morland's workshop are in the production of a unique, customer-designed multifunctional foldable cart. This collaborative project, initiated from a client's concept, involved our team in comprehensive mold development, joint design optimization, and meticulous manufacturing execution.
The cart's innovative design and extensive feature set present significant production complexity. It incorporates a higher-than-average number of components, including diverse tubing profiles, specialized fittings, and numerous screws and fasteners. This complexity naturally translates into multiple intricate assembly steps. To ensure precision and quality throughout this demanding process, our experienced production team, comprised of highly skilled assembly workers, is handling the final build.
Final Quality Gate: Meticulous Pre-Pack Inspection
Quality Control (QC) serves as the critical final checkpoint before any product is approved for packaging and shipment. Recognizing the specific challenges and detail required for this custom foldable cart, our QC department has implemented enhanced inspection works directly on the production floor.
20+ Point Inspection Checklist: A comprehensive checklist covering every critical aspect, including:
- Appearance: Finish quality of tubing paint/powder coating, accuracy and clarity of logo printing on the fabric bag.
- Structural Integrity: Weld quality and consistency, adherence to specifications and assembly procedures.
- Functionality: Smooth operation of folding mechanisms, proper function of handles, safe and comfortable seating, correct deployment and stability of the canopy, and flawless operation of all other integrated accessories.
Every single unit undergoes this thorough inspection. Only carts passing all criteria flawlessly are released for final packaging and warehousing.
